CONSERVATION/MUSEUM

Conservation, or Museum, mounting methods are used to secure art to an acid free back board.  These methods include corners, pockets, hinges or artist tape - depending on the needs of the individual job requirements.

FABRIC ARTS, NEEDLEPOINT & CANVAS STRETCHING

Fabrics and needlework art require lacing, pinning or "stapling", or "stretching", over an acid free substrate in order to secure it during the framing process. 

DRYMOUNT

Drymounting is the use of heat-activated adhesives in a heat press to adhear artwork to a backing.  This is a permanant method of ensuring artwork will remain flat within the frame.

SPRAY OR WET MOUNT

This process involves applying glues in order to bond the artwork to the backing substrate.
